Welcome to the Oxford International Primary Care Leadership Programme
The Oxford International Primary Care Research Leadership programme is hosted by the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. The programme aims to foster and develop future leaders in primary care research. The programme is designed to help participants explore different aspects of leadership in primary care research. Participants are encouraged to identify their own development needs, form peer learning sets and establish a two year follow up programme. Participants are provided with access to current leaders in primary care research, experts in strategic leadership and one-to-one coaching.
Past participants have found the programme inspirational and influential and a career defining experience. They have been able to incorporate what they have learnt on the programme into their research, clinical and educational work. The support they receive from the presenters and from each other has been found to be invaluable to their roles as leaders and contributes significantly to successful promotions.
